Building a new future for Women’s Gymnastics
The MOST WATCHED Olympic sport has no pro league.
Women’s Sports are booming - historic viewership, all-time attendance highs, record media rights deals, and soaring valuations for leagues and team franchises.
However, Women’s Gymnastics - the most watched Olympic sport, attracting massive global fandom and record NCAA audiences - lacks a pro league. Unlike athletes in other sports, gymnasts have no sustainable means to earn a living by competing - since earnings exist outside of gymnastics (i.e., endorsements and promotional activity). With no pro path forward post-NCAA or Olympics, many gymnasts see their competitive careers cut prematurely short.
GIGA’s mission is to fix this problem, and bridge this gap by creating a new professional league that ushers in the PRO ERA for Women’s Gymnastics.

Inventing a new era for women's gymnastics
At GIGA, we’re building a new Pro League for Women’s Gymnastics - entering the market as Women’s Sports are breaking through to the mainstream. Despite ranking #1 at the Olympics and attracting record-breaking NCAA audiences, the sport still lacks a pro league system to extend athlete careers and support surging fan engagement. GIGA is here to change that.
Women’s Gymnastics pulled in historic audiences during the 2024 Paris Olympics - including roughly 15M people, who streaming on NBC platforms on a Tuesday afternoon at 3pm to watch Simone Biles win gold. During the Olympics, NBC airs more hours of Women’s Gymnastics in primetime than any other men’s or women’s sport.
In April 2025, 1.5M tuned into ESPN on a Saturday afternoon during NBA playoffs to watch Women’s Gymnastics NCAA finals. Since 2019, NCAA viewership has surged - with TV audiences growing from 133K to 1.5M, and female fans accounting for 57% of the ESPN audience - nearly double ESPN’s norm. In person attendance tells the same story - sell out crowds becoming the standard vs. the exception across powerhouse programs like LSU, Florida, UCLA, Utah, Georgia, and Auburn.
And yet, these elite athletes stand at the edge of a competition cliff once NCAA eligibility expires or an Olympic quad concludes.
At GIGA, we’re building the professional path forward that this sport, its stars, and the underserved audience have long deserved. The demand is here. The talent is ready. The business case is clear. Join us, and let’s build the future of gymnastics together.
Mission: enable female gymnasts and serve gymnastics fans
The leadership team at Global Impact Gymnastics Alliance is focused on redefining what it means to “turn pro” as an athlete competing gymnastics. Today, a “professional gymnast” generates earnings almost exclusively via endorsement dollars. In the context of women’s sports, despite recent traction, female athletes generate about 1/20 the field of play revenue of their male counterparts. In general, +80% of women’s earnings flow from sponsorships (and 100% for gymnasts), compared with <40% for men. Yet the vast majority of sponsor funding, about 90%, flows to men. This mean female gymnasts are particularly disadvantaged, despite their huge popularity on the global, Olympic, US, and NCAA stage. The GIGA leaders seek to build a pro league and professional path forward that empowers female gymnasts combined with a new platform offering live event streaming, athlete stories, 24/ 7 digital and social engagement, and much more.
