Sport's Inherent Commercial Advantages
Amid a booming women’s sports economy, gymnastics represents the single most compelling and under-leveraged commercial opportunity in women’s sports today. It's the most watched Olympic sport - with proven TV demand, explosive NCAA growth, diverse star power, and outsized NIL impact.
However, there's no pro league or prize money system extending beyond NCAA or Olympics to enable sustainable athletes careers or offer audiences see-it-to-be-it inspiration.
GIGA envisions a new future by building a modern women’s gymnastics pro league that integrates team-based competition with a fan-first content and commerce platform, offering gymnasts direct channels to their global fanbase beyond NCAA and the Olympics, and transforming the sport from 4-year cycles into a year-round professional property.
Women’s pro sports is projected to hit $2.35 billion in 2025, yet Women’s Pro Gymnastics remains at zero. GIGA breaks down the key trends shaping the busines of Women's Sports

What the data shows: the compelling commercial opportunity for Women's Gymnastics
Women's Gymnastics delivered the largest TV audiences of Paris 2024. The sport accounted for all four of the most watched days of the Games. NBC's coverage of Day 1 qualifications drew 41.5M US viewers, the single largest audience of the Summer Olympics.
Gymnastics popularity is not just every 4 years. Women's NCAA Gymnastics is seeing record audience growth, with TV viewership up 10X 2025 vs. 2019. Female viewers comprised 57% of 2025 NCAA finals audience – nearly double ESPN's network average. This growth coincided with sellout crowds becoming standard rather than the exception across top NCAA programs.
During the NIL's first year, female gymnasts commanded higher average NIL deals than athletes in other sports; with $1700 average contract value (CV), female gymnast NIL rates ranked more than 2x average football player NIL deals, and >4x deal CV of average athletes across all sports.
During the Summer Olympics, NBC airs more primetime women's gymnastics than any other men's or women's sport, proving network confidence in audience demand, and the sport's ability to draw the biggest primetime audiences, more than any other Olympic Sport.
