UCLA Wins Big Ten Championship

It was a big night for UCLA and Jordan Chiles, who won the all-around with a conference-record score of 39.825. Chiles scored her seventh perfect 10 of the season on floor exercise to repeat as floor champion. She also won the balance beam title with a 9.950 and tied with teammate Sydney Barros and three others on uneven bars with a 9.950, as sophomore Riley Jenkins tied for the vault title with a career-high 9.950. Chiles was voted the Big Ten Gymnast of the Year, and Janelle McDonald was named the Big Ten Coach of the Year for the second-straight season. (March 21)

Florida Gators Claim SEC Title

The Florida Gators claimed the 2026 SEC Championships title (198.175), edging out the top-ranked Oklahoma Sooners (198.150). The highly competitive conference meet featured two sessions with all nine SEC teams competing. The Gators secured the SEC title in the final rotation on bars as the undefeated regular-season champion Sooners closed out on floor. Florida's win also prevented reigning champion LSU Tigers from extending their back-to-back to a third year. (March 21)

Neutral Athletes Sweep Antalya World Cup

Competing as neutral individual athletes (AIN) at the third stop of the 2026 World Cup series, teammates Liudmila Roshchina and Milana Kaiumova won gold on all four events. Roshchina took vault gold via tie-break over Teja Belak (13.483) and added floor exercise gold (13.333). Kaiumova posted the top women’s score of the meet on uneven bars (14.233) and narrowly claimed balance beam gold (12.766) over Kate McDonald. (March 15)

Kaylia Nemour Shines at Baku World Cup

Reigning Worlds & Olympic UB Champion Kaylia Nemour showcased a massive 7.0 D-score on bars at the second stop of the 2026 World Cup series, claiming gold with a huge 15.233, along with a balance beam silver. Japan's Mana Okamura won gold on both beam and floor, while teammate Shoko Miyata collected VT & BB bronze. After winning Cottbus VT & FX, Anna Kalmykova added Baku VT gold & FX silver. (March 8)
