Kaylia Nemour Shines at African Championships
Kaylia Nemour (ALG) earned an all-around combined D score (22.9) that was nearly four points higher than the next-best AA difficulty. She had the top D score on uneven bars, balance beam, and floor exercise, plus a tied-high vault D score. Nemour's AA combined E score (33.598) was more than 2 points higher than the next best AA execution. (April 23)
Oklahoma Wins 2026 NCAA Title
The Oklahoma Sooners won the 2026 NCAA Women's Gymnastics Championships on Saturday, adding an additional title and expanding their legacy. Oklahoma edged out the LSU Tigers, ahead of both Florida and Minnesota to earn their eight NCAA women's gymnastics title. (April 18)
2026 Osijek World Cup
Established champions and new senior standouts displayed impressive performances at the 5th stop of the 2026 World Cup. Reigning European vault champion Karina Schoenmaier (GER) and reigning European AA Champion Manila Esposito (ITA) both earned golds on vault and balance beam, respectively. Meanwhile, 2025 world UB bronze medalist Fanyuwei Yang (CHN) won bars with a huge 6.6 difficulty, and first-year senior Elena Colas (FRA) captured the floor exercise gold. (April 12)
