Cottbus World Cup Kicks Off 2026 Series
The 2026 World Cup series began with Anna Kalmykova winning double gold (VT, FX) while returning stars including Elisa Iorio (UB gold), Aiko Sugihara (BB gold), Kaylia Nemour (BB silver), Karina Schoenmaier (VT silver) and Teja Belak (VT bronze) all shared the podium. Kalmykova won vault gold (13.816), edging Germany’s Karina Schoenmaier by just 0.016. On bars, Elisa Iorio took gold (14.266), ahead of Milana Kaiumova and Giulia Perotti. Aiko Sugihara delivered the top beam set (14.066) ahead of Nemour and Kaiumova. Kalmykova claimed her second gold on floor (13.333), with Sugihara adding silver and Italy’s Emma Puato taking bronze. Hezly Rivera Wins Winter Cup 2026
Paris Olympics gold medalist and reigning US National AA Champion Hezly Rivera claimed the Winter Cup 2026 All Around, Beam, and Floor gold. Claire Pease won vault and Charleigh Bullock captured bars gold. (Feb 22)
Morgan Price Makes History
In the February 20th home meet against Kentucky, Arkansas senior Morgan Price set a new record with the program's first ever perfect 10 on vault, competing a stunning Yurchenko 1.5. (Feb 20)
Perfect 10s Heat Up the 2026 Season
The 2026 season heated up as Oklahoma gymnasts scored back-to-back meet perfect 10s: Mackenzie Estep on February 8th (VT) and Addison Fatta on February 13th (VT). Additionally, Utah's Avery Neff collected her second 10 of the year (Feb 21), and Kailin Chio collected a pair of perfect 10s during a dual meet at Oklahoma (Feb 20).
2026 NCAA Women's Gymnastics Season Opens
The 2026 NCAA Women's gymnastics season got underway as Washington hosted Oregon State and Cal on Jan 3, and the Sprouts Farmers Market featured two college quad meets at the Maverik Center in Utah on Jan 10. Utah's Avery Neff secured the first perfect 10 of the 2026 season on vault during the opening action. (Jan 10)
