About the Tracker
Qualification & roster status
What does “qualified” mean on this page?
GIGA uses “qualified” when a team or named athlete appears in the current World Gymnastics WAG Qualifiers document. That status is kept separate from later federation roster announcements.
What is the difference between “qualified” and “announced”?
“Qualified” reflects an earned World Championships place in the official qualification document. “Announced” means an athlete appears in a verified national federation team or delegation announcement.
What is a nominative entry?
World Gymnastics publishes nominative registration as a separate event document. GIGA therefore surfaces it as an official entry resource and does not treat it as interchangeable with a federation-announced final team.
How do the apparatus specialist qualification places work?
The World Championships Qualification World Cup Ranking provides eight qualified apparatus-specialist places per apparatus, subject to eligibility, federation limits and the applicable World Gymnastics tie-breaking rules.
